Asociacion Desarrollo Integral de Belen (ADIBE) is the Mayan community owned and managed soy products cooperative in Solola, Guatemala. Originally, in 1980, Plenty, with the support of the Canadian International Development Agency and UNICEF, working with the village of San Bartolo adjacent to the highland town of Solola, built a soy foods production facility. They installed all the equipment needed for making milk, tofu and ice cream. Since that time the project has expanded to include more soy-based products (tempeh, soaps, shampoos and skin lotions) and Plenty has helped the community add new equipment and upgrade the physical plant.
