Music CD of Ecuador from Kara Shuar
The group Kara Shuar was born in 1985 in the community of San Pedro Saka-Entsa, which is located in the south of Amazonia in Ecuador. The songs in this CD are original compositions of Kara Shuar who are dedicated to making music for recreation, dancing, or religious purposes. Kara Shuar hopes to introduce their ancient ways through its music, while raising funds needed for their cultural survival.
